I’m Emily
Founder & CEO of HELD
I’m a former Kindergarten teacher, who received my ADHD diagnosis at age 16, despite years of teachers unwilling to fill out observations forms since I wasn’t a “behavior problem” . (Thanks mom for advocating for me!)
I decided the $30k/year teaching salary was not worth the daycare cost and set my sights on being the greatest stay at home mom there ever was.
Until I discovered that my brain did NOT like not working. Add the mom guilt, postpartum depression and anxiety to the mix and I suddenly found myself missing the fulfillment I got from teaching.
So, when I was presented with the opportunity to manage the social media accounts for our family business, I JUMPED AT IT.
And that led me to launching my own business, where I helped over 1,000+ entrepreneurs and small business owners with their marketing strategy.
While I still experience the ups and downs, struggles and shame of ADHD, I have a leg up ONLY because my journey started 21 years ago. I understand why I do what I do and have created strategies that help.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to:
Figure out my capacity
Work from home with screaming toddlers
Set boundaries with dopamine-filled social media platforms
Get back up after falling into the pit of shame when I double booked or missed a call
After a year of supporting ADHD entrepreneurs with their business, marketing strategy and personal lives, I want to help MORE of you succeed in all of those areas, too.
A place where you can get the ADHD support that you deserve.
A place where you feel HELD

FAQ’s
-
My private podcast in tandem with my Live Q&A call! Every other week I tackle an ADHD topic, give data and research, and then share strategies that personally have helped me OR my clients. AND they're only 5-15 min long!
My live Q&A's help members specifically with their own issues. If I've learned anything, it's that the ADHD diagnosis comes with a LOT of variety! I wanted to make sure I gave my members the opportunity to get customized support, too.
-
Because we hate dealing with updating credit cards or worrying about monthly payments. You pay once and you're done for the year and it's off your mind!
-
While I am always speaking through the lens of a business owner TO business owners, a LOT of what I share is how we personally manage our ADHD and why our brains are the way we are.
I think this program can be helpful to ALL people with ADHD or people who have family members with ADHD, not JUST business owners.
-
That's okay! The FB community is there to vent, share, and connect. It's also where we share reminders and updates but any big updates and reminders will be via email.
If you don't need the community aspect, no need for Facebook!
-
Yes! You can access the recording in the Facebook group.

I get it, sometimes you can get into a program and realize it's not for you.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, but generally speaking, you can get a full refund within a week of joining if the program is not right for you.
